Cuteheads provided me with clothing in exchange for my review. As usual, my thoughts are 100% honest and my own.
Spring is here and so are the puddles and the rain! Even though she kind of hates it when her hands get dirty, B loves to jump in the puddles and play in the water. She will happily go on adventures for hours, exploring the forest at her Nannie’s house, or even just the neighbourhood around our home. She’s the kind of little girl who chooses trucks over dolls at play time, and loves to dig in the dirt. Because of her adventurous heart, I have to make sure her clothes keep up with her and the things she gets up to. That’s why we get Spring play ready with Cuteheads.
Cuteheads is owned and operated by Esther Freedman, a wife and mother to two from Texas. Each piece of her clothing line is hand-crafted with comfort and style in mind, and is sustainably and responsibly made, using only the highest quality fabrics and employing local seamstresses and factories to make each garment. I’ve had the opportunity to get to know Esther over the past year, and I am just over the moon with her and her clothing. Instead of considering them competition, Esther actively lifts up other small business owners and promotes them on her feeds and blog. She is constantly coming up with ways to promote others, collaborate with others, and inspire others. I am honoured to know her, and blessed to call her a friend.
Cuteheads was born in 2012 with a line of knit basics, and over the past few years has grown into so much more. Now Esther offers beautiful dresses, fun leggings, tees, drooler scarves, shorties, and more.
Esther sent Brynn a pair of “little legs” and a wuf tee, as well as her popular “forget me not” cotton jersey dress. All in shades of purple, which is B’s most favourite colour. It comes as no surprise to me that she wears her little legs and wuf tee as jammies as often as she can, as they’re super soft and very stretchy, giving them a super comfortable fit so she can be her silly self or sleepy self without pulling at her clothes. What did surprise me a little bit was her love for the dress. Perhaps it’s because it’s purple, perhaps it’s because it’s so comfortable since it’s made of cotton jersey, I will never know. All I know is that she normally refuses her dresses in favour of pants, unless it’s this dress! And if B is happy, mama is happy. PLUS she looks adorable, right?
I cannot recommend Cuteheads more highly. I just adore Esther and every piece of clothing she makes, especially her beautiful dresses. Seriously, how sweet are these for Easter?
